Mystic River Jam, at the beautiful Mystic Shipyard, was held on June 21-22, 2024 and showcased music from amazing bands - while supporting two great charities, Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center (pawcatuckneighborhoodcenter.org) and Sails Up 4 Cancer (su4c.org). We are very proud to announce that we donated $4500 to the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center and $2000 to Sails Up 4 Cancer. “River Jam donates all bar tips to Sails Up, and donates income (above the cost of production) to the PNC,” said Courtney Moore, co-creator of Mystic River Jam. “We are proud to give back to these two great charities and could not do it without the generosity of the Helbig Family and Mystic Shipyard staff for allowing us to host our event at their wonderful venue. I am also always impressed with the generosity of the attendees who tip well at the bar knowing their donation is going to Sails Up.” Mystic River Jam is fully run by volunteers who give their time and energy to enjoy the event and give back to their community. Mystic River Jam will be held July 11-12, 2025. “We are so grateful to the numerous volunteers and sponsors who make River Jam a success. On behalf of 2,000+ people who use the PNC food pantry and other services, I would like to express my sincere thanks!”said Susan Sedensky, PNC Executive Director. PNC’s mission is to improve and enhance the quality of life of residents of all ages living within the communities we serve by providing basic human needs, social interaction and senior transportation to obtain medical care. “River Jam is making a difference in the lives on those affected with cancer, and for that we are grateful,” said Bob Davis, President of SU4C. SU4C is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding research in the education, prevention, care, and cure for all types of cancer through the art and enjoyment of sailing.
