Mystic, CT – With the 'Mystic Coyote' causing quite a stir in town and on social media recently, the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center presents a free program about coyotes and other predators we have in our southeastern Connecticut backyards. Molly Check has been the Education Director at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center for 18 months. Before moving to Connecticut, she worked at several other nature centers in Minnesota and Pennsylvania. Growing up in the wilds of NW Pennsylvania, there were plenty of foxes, bobcats, coyotes and black bears that traveled through her backyard. Join her for an informative look at the larger mammals that share our forests, fields, and neighborhoods!
This program will help dispel some of the myths, misinformation, and fear that local residents have for the mammals that share our neighborhoods.
