Summer 2020 Campaign Results Are In

Launched during the Phase 2 state reopening, the summer So Good To See You, Connecticut campaign wrapped up on Labor Day and the results are in.

While our marketing campaign aimed to help mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on the tourism industry, we recognize that times have been very difficult for so many of our tourism partners. Please know that we remain dedicated to supporting you in whatever ways we can.
We hope you find these results encouraging — as the data does show that marketing can be effective in actually getting people out to safely enjoy all our state has to offer.

Key Campaign Results:

  • The recovery campaign was seen 670 million times in Connecticut, New York City, Boston, and Rhode Island.

  • Those who saw the campaign visited Connecticut restaurants, attractions, activities and hotels 75% more than those who didn’t see the campaign.

  • CTvisit.com, the hub of the campaign, proved to be effective at converting site visitors into state visitors and was a greater draw than any other New England state’s tourism site.
