Town of Westerly and Yale New Haven Health’s Westerly Hospital to open vaccine clinic

In partnership with the Town of Westerly, Yale New Haven Health’s Westerly Hospital will help support a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Westerly Senior Center. The clinic will be open to Westerly residents aged 75 and older and will start administering vaccines on Monday afternoons beginning, Feb. 15. All vaccines will be given by appointment only.

To schedule an appointment please register for Code Red on the town's website (https://westerlyri.gov/) if you have any questions please call 401-348-2526.

The clinic is a municipal point of distribution site through the Town of Westerly's Emergency Management Agency which will be staffed by Westerly Hospital employees as well as volunteers from the town of Westerly. The Town will oversee logistics such as appointment scheduling and procurement of the vaccine.

Due to the limited availability of vaccine doses provided to the state of Rhode Island by the federal government, the clinic will only be open on Mondays. Additional days and hours may be added as more vaccine becomes available.
