Pride Weekend Returns To Mohegan Sun June 24th & June 25th
Mohegan Sun is celebrating the LGBTQ+ community with a fun-filled weekend of Pride. Festivities start Saturday, June 24th with an all-ages event, Pride on the Sun Patio. Then, Cocktails & Queens delivers the ultimate drag show in The Cabaret Theatre. Guests can keep the party going on Saturday with Avalon Nightclub’s PRIDE @ Night. Pride Weekend wraps up on Sunday, June 25th with the You Better Work: Diva Brunch at novelle, a special E.R. Fightmaster meet & greet, and a Pride-themed Connecticut Sun basketball game presented by Jordan’s Furniture.
Pride on the Sun Patio| Sun Patio| Saturday, June 24th | 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Pride will take over the Sun Patio with local businesses and support organizations that all highlight the LGBTQ+ community! Guests can enjoy a variety of drink specials at our all-new Sun Patio Bar and indulge in incredible food by Backyard Smokers and Supreme Hot Dogs. DJ Edgewood and DJ Gadget will be keeping the energy going with upbeat and energetic music throughout the day. Check out a variety of vendors including Mohegan Sun’s benefitting organization, outCT. The divas have arrived! Drag icon Kenya Mone Heart is hosting this unforgettable event, featuring a top tier lineup of some of the most fabulous drag queens in Connecticut. Guests can enjoy performances by Angelina Fierce, Dro Lopez, Rozz Aura, Moxie Angel, Natalia Fierce, Vypra Aura and Xiomara Amour. Plus, special performances by Pangina Heals and Robin Fierce, stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race!Tickets to Cocktails & Queens are $40 and on sale via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Keep the party going in Avalon for PRIDE @ Night! Sip on delicious Bacardí drinks and DJ Dave Aude will keep guests dancing to his energetic beats all night long. All are invited to witness this legendary nightclub scene, show off their true colors and shine with pride! Cover for PRIDE @ Night is $20 and all guests must be 21 and over to attend.
You Better Work: Diva Brunch | novelle| Sunday, June 25th| 11:00am – 2:00pm
novelle is set to host the grand finale to Pride Weekend – the You Better Work Diva Brunch. This exclusive drag brunch features live entertainment, a mouthwatering buffet, and gorgeous cocktail blends that guarantee a fierce, fun time! Tickets to the You Better Work: Diva Brunch are $65 and available via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. All guests must be 21 and over to attend.
Connecticut Sun Pride | Sunday, June 25th
Connecticut Sun is ready to go All in for Pride! Guests can partake in a special meet and greet with E.R. Fightmaster from Grey’s Anatomy at The Cabaret Theatre at 10:30am. Tickets are $100 and $85 and on sale now. Ticket price for the meet & greet includes admission to the CT Sun Pride Game vs Chicago Sky.
At 1:00pm, Connecticut Sun is hosting a special Pride Game presented by Jordan’s Furniture. Fans are encouraged to show their pride while enjoying a special halftime performance. The first 2,500 fans will receive a Connecticut Sun beach towel. Both the E.R Fightmaster meet & greet and the CT Sun Pride Game are open to guests of all ages.
