Stonington Sounds Summer Music Festival Saturday, June 3 starting at 10am

Stonington Sounds is a free music festival with concerts happening throughout the day in various outdoor/indoor locations in Stonington Borough anchored at La Grua Center and the Stonington Commons Green adjacent to La Grua Center.

The festival will feature a diverse lineup of musicians from classical to jazz and is scheduled so that attendees can shop and dine during breaks in the music.

Audiences are encouraged to park in public lots at Town Dock, Wayland's Wharf, and DuBois Beach and to bring lawn chairs or blankets. The festival will go on rain or shine with performances on the green taking place under a tent.

1pm- Halley’s Comet: Around the Piano John Davis and Mark Twain, La Grua Center, 32 Water Street
2pm- U.S. Coast Guard Dixieland Jazz Band, Stonington Commons Green
3pm- Elena Zamolodchikova (Harpsichord), La Grua Center
4pm- Mike Casey Trio (Jazz), Stonington Commons Green
7pm- Sonia Bettencourt (Fado), Portuguese Holy Ghost Society, 26 Main Street
