The Emporium, an upscale thrift store on 22 RT 171 in Woodstock, will be reopening for shopping on October 5th. One of The Arc Eastern Connecticut’s micro-enterprises, The Emporium provides people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the skills they can use to secure competitive employment with area businesses. “We’re so happy to be able to finally re-open again,” said Jennifer Ricci, Director Woodstock Emporium Scheduled to Reopen October 5
of Community Enterprise at The Arc. “Our employees are eager to get back to work, and while we
were closed due to the pandemic, we were able to still accept some really great donated items, which we’ll have ready for sale, along with hundreds of other beautiful things.” The Emporium sells high-end gently used clothing, household and vintage items, jewelry, and furniture. Store hours are Monday-Friday 10am-2pm. Please note: The Emporium will currently be allowing 5 people in the store at a time, and
only one member of a family at a time. Temperatures will be taken and face masks must be worn while
in the store to help keep everyone safe and healthy.
