Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union to Match Channel 3 Kids Camp Telethon Funds

Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union is providing a matching grant to raise funds at the Channel 3 Kids Camp’s upcoming Telethon. The telethon, an annual fundraiser for the camp, will be aired live on Saturday March 3trd on WFSB TV Channel 3 from 5am – 8am. Emceed by WFSB Meteorologist Scot Haney and reporter Nicole Nalepa, the telethon raises important funds to help bring children to camp that otherwise would not be able to afford such an experience.

Through this generous pledge, Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union will be matching donations, dollar for dollar up to $10,000. “We hope donors will take advantage of this opportunity to have their contribution go twice as far” stated John Holt, NFSCU president & CEO. The match will only run through the end of the telethon. Those pledging $1,000 or more will have the opportunity to appear on the live broadcast to deliver their donation in person. Arrangements for this need to be made in advance by contacting Jana Tierney at 860-742-2257 ext. 112.
