OIC New London County Helps People Help Themselves for 45 Years

OIC of New London County, Incorporated has been a staple in the community for 45 years. This year we celebrate our commitment to helping people help themselves by providing effective and efficient quality services through our basic skills, supportive counseling and job development services. OIC advocates primarily for low income and/or traditional or non-traditional adults regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age or national origin to be able to provide them with quality education and career technical training so that they will be able to access the window of opportunity available to others.

Now in existence for over 45 years, Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc. continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings throughout New London county and southeastern Connecticut.   We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting programs that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our cause.

We ask that you make a commitment to join our annual appeal to “Re-Key OIC by giving up your Time, Talents and Treasures “ and support a most worthy cause by celebrating our 45th Anniversary on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Port ~n~ Starboard, Ocean Beach Park, New London, CT from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The tickets for the event are $60.00.  Rodney Butler, Chief Mashantucket Tribal Nation, will be the guest speaker for the event.  For more information, please contact Nekeisha Grant at 860-447-1731 extension 313 or at ngrant@oicnlc.org.
