Rappel Down Mohegan Sun's Sky Tower to Support Special Olympics, September 3rd

Registration for Over the Edge – a fundraiser hosted by Mohegan Sun to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut - is now open! This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event that challenges everyone to raise money for Special Olympics and rappel more than 30 stories down Mohegan Sun's Sky Tower. Participants enjoy amazing views and an exhilarating experience while supporting Special Olympics' athletes of all abilities. Over the Edge will take place all day on Friday, September 3rd at Mohegan Sun, 1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard in Uncasville, and spectators will be welcome. Those expected to rappel during this milestone event include individuals and teams representing area businesses, community organizations and law enforcement departments along with Matt Glad - a Special Olympics athlete himself! Special Olympics athletes will also be on hand to cheer on and thank participants. All monies raised will help sustain and grow Special Olympics’ year-round sports, health and fitness programs for individuals of all abilities across the state.
No experience is necessary. Participants must raise a minimum of $1,000 to rappel and weigh 100 lbs. or more.
