S&P Oyster Restaurant Puts Its Money Where Its Mouth Is This Veterans Day

S&P Oyster Restaurant will donate 15% of its Veterans Day revenue to support local vets.

Mystic, CT – S&P Oyster Restaurant will continue its tradition of supporting local veterans by donating 15% of its revenue from November 11 & 12 to the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs serves those who served their country, providing a number of different programs including educational training, health, medical and rehabilitation services, housing facilities and employment assistance. They help veterans receive care to overcome disabilities, transition from military service and enjoy a higher overall quality of life.

“Supporting veterans and active duty military is something very personal to us at S&P Oyster Restaurant. Many of our staff have friends who have served, and some of us have family currently serving in Afghanistan. I think the best way to thank our servicemen and women is to support the groups that take care of them, which is why I’m so happy we are able to contribute to such a fantastic organization.” – Cathleen Holland, Co-Owner, S&P Oyster Restaurant.

“As a longtime officer of the Mystic Flag Committee and a Navy Veteran, I commend S&P Oyster Restaurant and Bar for their annual support and financial contributions to the MFC and local veterans.” – John Kennedy, CDR USN-RET, Vice President - Mystic Flag Committee.

15% of the total revenue from November 11-12 will be donated to the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs.  Please visit here or call (860) 536-2674 for more information.
