The Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE, Mentors to America’s Small Businesses, will present a free webinar series for small business owners on Small Business Selling, Tuesday through Thursday, January 11 -13, 2022, at noon each day.
The Sales process does not have to be a dreaded part of running your business. It's the best way to watch your revenue grow. Each time you talk enthusiastically about your business, you are selling.
This free series, led by SCORE mentor Eric Munro, consists of three 90-minute workshops designed for small business owners. Attend all 3 sessions, or any individually. Pre-registration is required (after registering, you will receive confirmation emails with information on how to join the webinars).
Webinar #1: “Finding Customers” – Tuesday, January 11th
The first webinar in the series looks in more detail at the use of techniques such as marketing, the internet, establishing a presence, referrals, and even cold calling! REGISTER NOW.

Webinar #2: “Networking” – Wednesday, January 12th
The second webinar covers one of the most important facets of developing the customer base. Building alliances with friends, customers, vendors, and business associates is key to establishing a broad range of contacts that leads to sales growth. REGISTER NOW.

Webinar #3: “Selling Techniques for Small Business Owners” – Thursday, January 13th
The final webinar provides an overview of the selling process, dealing with the “soft” techniques: face-to-face encounters, communicating the scope of the deal, negotiating, listening, establishing trust, and asking for the order. It will also address overcoming the fear of being the salesperson for the business. REGISTER NOW.
