Old Saybrook, CT – The Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit association dedicated to the success of small businesses, will present a free Small Business Workshop with Maria Miranda of Miranda Creative on "How to Run a Successful Media Campaign."  Well known for her new media/social media presentations, Maria has agreed to offer this rare media overview presentation exclusively to the SCORE community.

With declining marketing budgets yet greater expectations of success, making media selections can feel more like a gamble than an investment.

In this workshop with media maven Maria Miranda of Miranda Creative, you will learn proven techniques for improving your odds.

Maria will focus on four aspects of a successful media campaign — market research; effective messaging; ideal media mix; and measurement options.

Designed for all experience levels, attendees will learn:
• How to access internal/external data for your market profiles;
• How creative messaging impacts results;
• What percentages to spend across multiple media;
• How to measure most aspects of media placement to achieve greater results in the future.
The workshop will conclude with a Q/A session.

Workshop Presenter Maria Miranda is the principal and creative director of Miranda Creative, an award-winning marketing and communications firm in Norwich, Connecticut. With a growing roster of clients on a national scale, Maria and her colleagues manage or advise the new media programs (websites, social media, mobile media) in a wide range of industries. Maria is a regular presenter for many regional chambers, a guest specialist on WFSB/Channel 3 and has led a variety of social media workshops nationwide.
