Old Saybrook, CT – SCORE (sect.score.org), Mentors to America’s Small Businesses, brings back its popular, free five-session business planning workshop series to aid start-up entrepreneurs, starting September 26, 2018.

The Simple Steps for Starting Your Business Workshop Series helps entrepreneurs, and those interested in learning more about business, test a small business idea and begin to plan a start-up.

This program is ideal for individuals in small business, those thinking about starting a new business and ‘students of life’ who want to learn more about business fundamentals.

This SCORE educational program includes five workshop sessions, each with a key focus area:

  1.        “Start-up Basics” (September 26)
  2.        “Business Concept” (October 3)
  3.        “Marketing Plan” (October 10)
  4.        “Financial Projections” (October 24)
  5.        “Funding Sources” (October 31)
Each session includes exercises to help the entrepreneur plan for success.  The workshop itself is delivered at no cost to the participants, and SCORE also includes free and confidential mentoring sessions as part of the workshop series. Attend all five sessions, or any individual sessions. To learn more and register, visit https://sect.score.org/simple-steps-starting-your-business.
