Old Saybrook, CT – The Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit association dedicated to the success of small businesses, will present a free Small Business Workshop on "How to Start Your Non-Profit Business."
If you are thinking about starting or are now running your non-profit organization, understanding the next steps in how to effectively manage your organization will be key to long term success.
This free workshop will guide you through many of these important areas of non-profit management, including:
Workshop Presenter Bob Potter is a graduate of Syracuse University and has more than 40 years in creative management, marketing communications, and non-profit development for leading corporate, arts, cultural and non-profit organizations including Time Warner, National Geographic, AOL, National Gallery of Art, Lyme Art Association, Mystic Seaport, and Save the Children. His areas of expertise include marketing and communications, web development, market research, fundraising for non-profits, and strategic planning. Additionally, Bob provides consulting for the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism and volunteer work with the Southeast Connecticut Shoreline Food Pantry.

All 40 counselors in Southeast Connecticut are volunteers, receive no compensation, and are working or retired business owners, executives, and managers.
