Tamarack Lodge Restaurant and Tavern to Celebrate Grand Re-Launch March 21

Voluntown, CT – Coming into its 2nd year, the Rustic estate Tamarack Lodge announces an exciting Grand Re-Launch of the Restaurant and Tavern under the creative direction of On The Spot Catering! The Grand Re-Launch will kick off on Thursday, March 21st with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut from 4:30pm-5:30pm with the ribbon cutting taking place at 5:00pm, followed by complimentary hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine.

The restaurant and tavern will open to the public for dinner starting at 5pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and starting on Sunday the 24th Brunch will be served from 9am-1pm on a weekly basis!

In January 2019 an official partnership was announced between Tamarack Lodge and On The Catering regarding On The Spot Catering taking over all food and beverage services as well plans to make it their main center of operations by March 2019.

The new décor will give unique personality to each room within the main building with names like The Trophy Room, The Parlor, The Lounge, The Tasting Room and the Carriage Room. The intended atmosphere is a little bit of nostalgic Tamarack mixed with the modern Tamarack version.  Rustic walls representing a log cabin, exposed industrial beams, vintage furniture and light fixtures with an inviting experience as soon as you walk through the door!

The restaurant and tavern feature gourmet comfort food, locally sourced ingredients, creative cocktails, craft beer, a mature wine list and fresh baked goods.  Dinner is served Thursday through Saturday and brunch on Sundays. The property is historical of Voluntown and provides the residents and visitors of this quaint town with a unique restaurant concept.

Accommodations can be made for large and small weddings and private events indoors and outdoors, as well as throughout all four seasons. The vintage cabins, guest house, and grounds for trailers and tents provide weekend long Glamping getaways from the hustle and bustle with lots of local activities to enjoy!
