The Arc New London County Hosts 2nd Annual Film Festival April 27

Norwich, CT – The 2nd Annual Arc Film Festival fundraiser will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2017, from 5:30 to 8:00pm. at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center, 100 Pequot Trail, Mashantucket, CT.

Proceeds support empowerment, self-advocacy and social/recreational programming for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). These programs are the most vulnerable to funding cuts. Your presence at the Film festival can make a significant difference in a family’s life.

Please join us for an inspiring evening of short films about people with I/DD who are making a difference in their communities.  These films guarantee that you will never think about intellectual and developmental disability in the same way again. Included in the evening is a sumptuous array of fine food, wine and beer, and a silent auction with a large variety of high-quality merchandise and gift certificates. Premier Sponsors of the event are Comcast, which has created a short film featuring Arc participants and programs, and The Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center, which has generously donated the elegant and spacious venue. “Studio” sponsors include The Day and Chelsea Groton Bank.

All food, beverages and spirits included in the price of admission! Tickets are $35 and are on sale now. Call 860.889.4435 ext. 126 or visit TheArcNLC.org. Tickets will also be available at the door.

The Arc’s annual Film festival is one of two major fundraisers held each year to support critical programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Without community support, these activities would go unfunded.
