The Light House Hosts 13th Annual Autism Education Conference

New London, CT – Registration for The Light House’s Autism Education Conference on May 3rd at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum is now open. Now in its 13th year, AEC continues to bring in dynamic speakers with fresh perspectives, valuable insights, and practical strategies to our region. As the only autism focused conference in Eastern Connecticut, AEC gives educators, parents, caregivers and service providers the opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field.

This year’s AEC will feature a new format with multiple speakers and presentations, an exhibitor fair with related services and businesses from all over Connecticut, and an interactive session with product demonstrations and seminars. Speakers from across the United States will be presenting on a range of topics, including play therapy, social emotional learning, and AAC. The Light House is also excited to announce that Liberty Bank will be sponsoring a happy hour following the conference to give speakers, attendees, and exhibitors a chance to network.

Scholarships to offset the cost of the conference are being offered for groups, students, family members of children identified with ASD and individuals identified with ASD up to age 21. For more information, please visit www.lhcampus.com/aec2019
