Three Rivers College Foundation Receives Grant From Chelsea Groton Foundation

Norwich, CT – The Three Rivers College Foundation is pleased to announce Chelsea Groton Foundation’s grant of $2,800 to fund an Advanced Sheet Metal Fabrication Needs Assessment.
 
The Needs Assessment will explore area manufacturing to help Three Rivers design and adapt innovative educational models that are more sustainable across the technical disciplines. 
 
“As a business owner, volunteer and resident of this community, Chelsea Groton’s partnership in support of this initiative is integral in the expansion of non-credit workforce development programs that will create pathways to support industry needs in our region,” said Chris Jewell, TRC Foundation Vice-President.

The Three Rivers College Foundation is a non-profit charitable educational foundation, incorporated under the laws of the State of Connecticut and granted 501 (C) (3) tax-deductible status by the IRS.  Its purpose is to support the educational efforts of the College, the staff, and the faculty.  In this role, it performs many functions for the College.
