Three Rivers Offering Pharmacy Tech, Patient Care Courses Starting March 20

Space is still available in two non-credit training courses, Pharmacy Technician and Patient Care Technician, starting Tuesday, March 20. These careers are among the fastest growing health care careers in Connecticut.  Whether a person has the goal of learning new skills or reinventing their career, taking a non-credit course will fit their needs. Both courses have a registration deadline of Tuesday, March 13.
 
Pharmacy Technician: This comprehensive 60-hour course prepares students to enter the pharmacy field and take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s (PTCB) exam. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting March 20 and running through May 31. Registration deadline is March 13. 
 
Patient Care Technician (PCT): If you are a CNA, further your expertise in subjects including Infection Control, Wound Care, Ostomy Care and more. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting March 20 and running through May 15. The registration deadline is March 13.
