Visitation Policy Changed to Help Fight Coronavirus (COVID-19) Spread- Westerly, RI

Due to continued concern regarding coronavirus (COVID-19), Westerly Hospital is immediately restricting all visitors.

“We are implementing a visitor restriction policy in order to ensure the safety of our patients, their families, our employees and our physician colleagues,” said Patrick Green, president and CEO of Westerly Hospital. “We trust that the public will understand the importance of reducing the spread of the virus in any way we can. Our goal is to keep the community safe while continuing to provide the care needed on behalf of the communities we serve.”

Limited exceptions to the visitor restriction policy may be made at the discretion of clinical leaders at the hospital, such as for end of life care.

Westerly Hospital personnel will continue to monitor the situation and restrictions will be amended when appropriate.
