Waterford Country School Announces 6th Annual 'Bring Your Mojo' Golf Tournament

Quaker Hill, CT — Waterford Country School’s Golf Committee is excited to announce their 6th Annual “Bring Your Mojo” Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15th at the Great Neck Country Club in Waterford.

The tournament is held in memory of founding family member, Gary Saunders who passed away suddenly on Jan. 27, 2011. He loved life in every way – especially his family, friends, automobiles, golf, and his career in aviation. As a founding family member, Gary believed in Waterford Country School’s mission of doing Whatever It Takes to enrich the lives of children and families through specialized programs, resources and community services. He was a diligent advocate for WCS children and families with special needs.

Tournament day check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. with a Shotgun Start at 12:30 p.m. Entrance fees are $166 per player, and include lunch, 18 holes of golf, greens fees, cart fees, as well as a steak and lobster dinner. The annual golf event also features over 50 raffle items, giveaway bags, live music and more surprises every year.

The golf committee is proud to welcome new committee members DJ Berry, Kevin Burrell, Lori Dufficy, Mark Maillett and Patricia Startz to the team. The “Bring Your Mojo” tournament promises to be an experience unlike any other. Last year, more than 160 golfers participated in this Sold Out event and the tournament raised over $75,000! At this time the “Bring Your Mojo” committee is seeking event sponsors, golfers and general supporters.

If you are interested in sponsoring or golfing in the tournament, please contact us right away as this event has SOLD OUT for the last few years.
