Yale New Haven Health announces third dose vaccines available

Yale New Haven Health today announced the start of scheduling for eligible third dose patients. Per the CDC guidelines, certain immunocompromised individuals who have received both doses of either the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are now eligible for a third dose. Specifically, recipients of solid organ transplants and others who are moderately or severely immunocompromised and received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines are advised to receive a third dose of that vaccine at least four weeks following their second dose. The CDC’s latest guidance on the third dose does not apply to the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Eligible patients can schedule their appointment now for a third dose on our website. Individuals are able to see all the locations, dates and times available and which vaccine is being offered. They should select the same vaccine from the previous two doses and ensure they are at least four weeks from their second dose.

All Yale New Haven Health administered vaccines will be scheduled at the below Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) Offices:

  • 4A Devine Street, North Haven
  • 112 Quarry Road, Trumbull
  • 1152 Kings Hwy Cutoff, Fairfield
