Yale New Haven Health launches health information webpage for journalists

Yale New Haven Health has launched Media Briefs, an editorial webpage providing journalists with healthcare news and insights through patient stories and interviews with leading medical experts.

Media Briefs delivers expert-reviewed articles and connects members of the media with background information, data and sources in every area of medicine the health system offers.

Recent topics that tap into timely health issues include:

 COVID-19 variants
• The impact of the pandemic (and the vaccine) on fertility
• The latest heart transplant method to come to the United States

Media Briefs was launched as an extension of Yale New Haven Health’s dedication to transparency and the communication of healthcare advances. The health system is committed to promoting health information featuring doctors, nurses, caregivers and patients driving medical innovations within our institution and at large.

Sources, quotes and images featured in Media Briefs are available to members of the media and interviews can be arranged upon request.
