PURE PIGMENT: PASTEL TECHNIQUES WORKSHOP

Taught by Laura LoTurco-Gorian. This workshop is a great introduction to materials and techniques to get you started working in pastels. This versatile medium uses both drawing and painting methods. With the vibrancy of pure pigment, pastels create painterly images. The workshop explores mark-making practices, pastel painting fundamentals, and more advanced techniques for creating original work. Designed for anyone interested in exploring the creative potential of this medium, no prior art training is required. All materials are supplied. There is a $5 materials fee, payable to the instructor. Participants are encouraged to bring a smock and a lunch.
