Taught by Howard Park and Lisa Miceli. Stick and ink is an art technique using a sharpened stick dipped into ink to create free and spontaneous drawings followed by a watercolor wash. In this workshop, students will learn unique mark-making methods to create vibrant abstract images.
The workshop will include demonstrations and instruction by two instructors and is suitable for students of all levels. Students will need to bring watercolor tubes, various sizes of watercolor paper, and brushes.
Carved drawing sticks will be provided.
