Synopsis:
Returning by sea from a royal wedding in Northern Africa, a ship carrying Italian noblemen including the King of Naples, his son Ferdinand, and Antonio, the treacherous Duke of Milan is torn apart by the titular tempest and thrown onto the shores of a nearby island.The isle belongs to Prospero: the rightful Duke of Milan, exiled 12 years ago along with his daughter Miranda through his brother’s betrayal. A powerful magician, Prospero summoned the storm himself, and commands the island’s spirits.Drawing his enemies into a meticulously plotted gauntlet of illusions, music, and spectacle, Prospero weaves a living play meant to confront his enemies with their crimes and force them into changing their ways. But there’s a problem. Something even the great Prospero did not foresee with all his arcane might. His daughter falling in love with one of the castaways.
