Voices Against Child Abuse: Raising Our Voices – Open Mic Night & Advocacy 

Saturday, April 4, 2026 | 5:00–8:00 PM | The Office NL, 61 Bank Street, New London, CT 

Join us in New London for an evening of community, storytelling, and action. Voices Against Child Abuse is a powerful open mic night where youth and advocates share their truth through story, poetry, and song—raising awareness while standing up for at‑risk and homeless youth. This is more than an open mic; it’s a movement.

Together, we are working to ensure that every at‑risk runaway youth is seen, protected, and supported by the system. 

What to Expect:

• Powerful performances from local voices dedicated to ending child abuse and youth homelessness
• Exciting raffles with great prizes supporting a vital cause 
• Legislative updates on the Blue Bag Youth Empowerment and Safety Act (BYESA) and efforts to protect youth ages 12–24 
• Opportunities to connect with community partners and advocates 

Why Attend:

Proceeds support the BYESA initiative and help build a permanent headquarters for the Blue Bag Foundation.
