New London Community Cleanup

Join the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut for the New London Community Cleanup, which brings together local businesses, community leaders, and professionals to give back to the City of New London. 

Sponsored by Eversource Energy, and in collaboration with the City of New London, this event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow Chamber members, enjoy a morning outside, and show your organization’s support for environmental stewardship and community well‑being. Whether you can join for a few hours or the entire morning, your participation makes a difference. Let’s work together to keep New London clean, welcoming, and beautiful!

8:30-9:00 am: Volunteer check‑in and breakfast, hosted at the Holiday Inn New London
9:00 am: Welcome remarks and volunteer instructions
9:15-11am: Community cleanup 

Complimentary t-shirts will be provided to volunteers (sizes guaranteed no later than May 29). Cleanup supplies will be provided, and participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring gloves if they have them.  

Note: in the event of rainy weather, we have set a rain date of June 26.
