The grand opening of the Coogan Farm Nature and Heritage Center was celebrated with a Sept. 4, 2014 ribbon cutting. The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center and the Trust for Public Land hosted the ribbon cutting at Coogan Farm, 162 Greenmanville Ave., Mystic. Local, state and federal dignitaries were on hand to celebrate the official opening of the 45-acre public park.
