Senator Blumenthal has called a round-table discussion on transportation, specifically freight and its importance to our state’s economy, set for next Tuesday.
The program will encompass a review of the State’s existing freight rail infrastructure, potential expansion and improvement of the system, and how FRA can help Connecticut to advance freight’s economic and safety impacts. Scott Greene, Chief of FRA’s Freight Rail Policy Division, is expected to join the discussion.
Please join us on Tuesday, September 1 from 10:30 to 11:30 at the Community Room at Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, 1055 Hartford Turnpike in Waterford.
