Be inspired! This not your average charity walk. The 10th Annual Walk to End Homelessness will take you by some of New London's cultural, historic and community landmarks.
You'll get a passport and can have it stamped at half a dozen places, and several sites will have performers and quick-view exhibits.
You can enjoy free ice cream and a drumming circle when the Walk ends at Parade Plaza, where you'll also have a chance to express your thoughts about homelessness and other pressing issues.
Walk starts: 1 p.m.
Where: Municipal Parking Lot on Eugene O'Neill Drive at Golden St. in New London. Map and parking info.
Come at 12: For music, performances, food trucks, meet-ups and day-of registrations; also turn in any money you raised from family/friends who are supporting you. Our thrift store at 35 Golden will be open for browsing.
