Tips from the Top: Janet Steinmayer, President of Mitchell College
The "Tips from the Top" program offers a unique, casual atmosphere for discussion between area CEOs and young professionals. Guest speakers will discuss their paths to leadership and tips for success, as well as answer questions from the group.
Guest Speaker: Janet Steinmayer, President of Mitchell College
Janet Steinmayer started her career as a corporate lawyer in private practice in NY, and was then general counsel at Trans World Airlines. She later served as President and CEO of Centerplate, the fifth largest food service company in North America. She came to the College from her position as the Founder and CEO of Appleseed Food Frontiers, a business accelerator and investment firm for expansion-stage and artisanal food entrepreneurs. Ms. Steinmayer received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bryn Mawr College and J.D. from the University of Chicago. She currently sits on the Boards of the CT News Project, Lyman Allyn Art Museum, The National Center for Learning Disabilities, Command Security Corporation, and is a Corporator of Dime Bank.
