The CT Council on problem Gambling (CCPG) is a private, not-for-profit organization helping to reduce the prevalence and impact of problem and pathological (compulsive) gambling. EASTCONN will initiate, support and facilitate partnerships, collaborations and regional solutions that are responsive to the needs of all learners through exemplary programs, products and services. We connect students to careers, professionals to communities and communities to better health. Learn is a regional educational service agency providing programs and services to school districts, community agencies and families in Southeastern CT. Lyme-Old Lyme High School is a 9-12 grade school of 472 students located in the historic district of Old Lyme. Provides high school credit. GED, ESL and computer instruction. In addition general interest courses and travel opportunities are available. Our state-mandated Academic Programs are offered to residents of Norwich and the eleven surrounding towns that comprise the Norwich Regional Adult Education Cooperative. Our Piece of the Pie®, Inc. (OPP®) is a nonprofit organization that works with Greater Hartford and Eastern Connecticut youth 14-24 years of age in a youth-centric model helping young people achieve degrees and certificates of value leading to economic self-sufficiency and a better quality of life. Porter and Chester Institute offers a wide variety of career training choices. We are a high-quality, detail-oriented preschool committed to providing our families with a clean, well-maintained environment, a nurturing and talented staff; as well as, maintaining our long-running Project Oceanology is a year-round, marine science educational organization governed by local school districts and in collaboration with universities and other educational institutions. The FHS Business Education Department offers courses that provide a foundation for the understanding of business, personal finance, and information technology. In today's rapidly changing and competitive workplace, these skills are a must. Sea Research Foundation is a leader in marine research, deep-sea exploration and hands-on education. We seek to protect our ocean planet by increasing awareness of our ocean environment and the creatures who live there, involving and educating budding scientists and future voters, and conducting and supporting aquatic and deep-sea research.
