Charter Oak Donates $15,000 to Mystic Aquarium's Sea Research Foundation

Waterford, CT – Charter Oak Federal Credit Union has renewed its support of Mystic Aquarium’s Frogs! exhibit by gifting the aquarium $15,000.

 The credit union first announced its partnership with Mystic Aquarium in 2016 during the grand opening celebration of its Mystic Branch, where Brian A. Orenstein, Charter Oak’s President and Chief Executive Officer, presented the aquarium with a $15,000 donation in support of its mission to care for and protect our ocean through conservation, education and research.

The aquarium continues to bring exciting exhibits to the region, and will soon feature a dinosaur exhibit, “Jurassic Giants: A Dinosaur Adventure.” Its newest exhibit will feature a dozen dinosaurs that will move and roar, and are expected to captivate children of all ages.

Previously, the aquarium launched its Frogs! exhibit in 2016, which Charter Oak sponsored, and its Weird & Wonderful exhibit in 2017.
