Charter Oak Unveils New Website

CharterOak.org Features Fresh Design, Easy Navigation, Brighter Graphics

Waterford, CT – Charter Oak Federal Credit Union has launched its new CharterOak.org website that features a fresh, new design and easy-to-use navigation as well as an accompanying new mobile site for smart phone users.

The new website, which was launched on November 18, 2015, was designed by the Essex, CT-based Outthink LLC, which is Charter Oak's marketing and advertising agency. The new site complements the credit union's new marketing and advertising look and feel while providing Charter Oak members with a user-friendly format that gives them quick access to the broad range of products and services offered by the credit union.

"This new website provides the perfect launch pad for our online members, as well as those looking to become new members," said Brian A. Orenstein, Charter Oak's President and Chief Executive Officer.  "With our new CharterOak.org, there's quick online access to apply for a mortgage, auto loan or Visa card, or to simply learn what makes Charter Oak one of eastern Connecticut's leading financial institutions," he said.

The new CharterOak.org's home page offers online viewers large new sliding graphics promoting the credit union's banking services as well as easy access to the credit union's product offerings, including its GO Checking Account and popular Accelerator Mortgage. Charter Oak has been eastern Connecticut's top mortgage lender for the past five consecutive years.

There are easy-to-navigate dropdown menus offering quick links to the credit union's membership benefits, personal banking products, business-banking services and community giving efforts.

There are also quick links to find Charter Oak branches and ATM locations, as well as important contact information and access to Charter Oak's history, new Branch and Headquarters information, and news-related events, including press releases, newsletters and annual report.
