CL&A has provided recreation, socialization, self-advocacy and civic engagement programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout southeastern Connecticut for 65 years, and is the only program of its kind in the region. It receives no state or federal funding and relies on private, municipal and foundation donations as well as United Way donations to provide its wide variety of services.
The Town of North Stonington has been a key supporter of the agency for many years, and several residents and their families currently take advantage of its programs.
