Old Saybrook, CT – The Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit association dedicated to the success of small businesses, will present a free Small Business Workshop on “Creating a Business Facebook Page with Hands-on Instruction,” Tuesday, September 20, at The Mystic & Noank Library, Mystic.

There are approximately 1.15 billion Facebook users, 700 million of whom are on Facebook daily!  In an average week, there are over 645 million views on local business Facebook pages and over 13 million comments on them. If you want wide exposure for your business, Facebook is the way to go. But where to start…right here in this workshop designed specifically to help you set up your Business Facebook from scratch! You will leave the class with a live business Facebook page to share with your public!

Designed for businesses currently without a business Facebook page who need instruction on creating one, this workshop offers hands-on, step-by-step instruction with former computer science professor and current SCORE Mentor Sharon Sisitzky, M.S., Ed.S.

For this hands-on workshop, please bring your laptop, iPad, Notebook or any mobile device and have an existing personal Facebook page.
