11th Annual Social Service Recognition Event
Join us in honoring the valuable social service agencies of eastern Connecticut who work tirelessly to improve our region's quality of life. We'll come together (virtually!) to network, celebrate, and hear from our keynote speaker, Cindy Loughran, CPC, on using mindfulness to manage stress and build resilience. We hope to offer a refreshing morning of connection and self-care to our social service colleagues as we express our thanks and appreciation.
Through the generosity of our Presenting Sponsor Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and our Regional Benefactors, we are able to extend a number of complimentary invitations to our local social service agencies. If your agency did NOT receive an invitation via email, please contact Stacy Herr.

Known for her insight, directness, humor and ability to bring out the best in people, Cindy Loughran has helped hundreds of individuals successfully expand their roles and increase their impact and satisfaction. Cindy guides her clients to make changes from the inside out in manageable steps. Some of the many tools Cindy employs in her work are based on the most recent findings in neuroscience and mindfulness.

Stress has become a national health crisis, costing organizations hundreds of millions of dollars for things including direct health care costs for stress related illnesses, absenteeism, drop in productivity, mistakes, poor decisions, turnover and more. In fact, in 2019, the WHO categorized Burnout as an official heath diagnosis. During this workshop, Cindy will share tools and strategies for you to use to mitigate your own stress and to take away to share with your colleagues, friends and family members.
