67th Annual Citizen of the Year Celebration honoring Mary Lenzini
The Citizen of the Year Award is presented annually to an extraordinary individual or individuals for outstanding contributions to the civic and business community. Please join us as we honor Mary Lenzini as our 67th Citizen of the Year.
About Mary:
As president of the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern CT, Mary Lenzini oversees a staff of 234, and manages the Association’s home health care, school health, and community wellness services for thousands of eastern CT residents. After receiving her degree in nursing, she joined the U.S. Navy, serving in active duty 1968-1970, overseeing a 40-bed Marine ward at age twenty-two. Mary is also dedicated to the local community, and co-founded the Soup Kitchen at Second Congregational Church in New London. Click here for more.
