SCORE Free Workshop: The Art of Salesmanship
For nearly 40 years, HJ Miranda sold and delivered the Frito Lay potato chip throughout New England. For 20 of those years, he taught his daughter, Maria Miranda, the art of salesmanship via sincere stories based on his daily experiences. The skills father imparted to daughter led Maria to start an award-winning marketing firm at just 24 years of age, and to grow a business that is successful on all levels. After the loss of her father, Maria compiled his daily lessons into a unique, engaging and heartfelt presentation that teaches lessons about the finesse of selling, in an echo of what was shared at the dinner table each evening.
Workshop presenter Maria Miranda is the principal and creative director of Miranda Creative, an award-winning marketing and communications firm in Norwich, Connecticut.
The workshop is sponsored by Guilford Savings Bank, serving the financial needs of individuals, families and businesses on the Connecticut shoreline community for over 140 years.
