YPcommunity: Young Professionals Making a Difference in Eastern CT!
Since 1988, the Food Center has played a key role in providing one of the building blocks to a good quality of life by feeding families and individuals facing hunger and food insecurity throughout New London County.
Last year, the Food Center distributed the equivalent of 3.1 million meals through 92 feeding program sites such as food pantries, shelters, childcare centers, community meal sites, programs for the elderly, and our Mobile Food Pantry, at no cost to those in need.

Tuesday, May 30th, from 1pm - 3pm
Friday, June 2nd, from 9am - 12pm
Monday, June 5th, from 9am-12pm
Friday, June 9th, from 9am-12pm
Volunteers will be sorting donated food in preparation for distribution. Participants must wear closed toed shoes.
