SP+A, an award-winning architecture, engineering and interior design practice, is seeking a licensed Project Architect with 7 to 10 years of experience in a design-oriented office to focus on educational/municipal/workplace projects and more.Project Architect - New London
The Project Architect is responsible for leadership and coordination of project team members and consultants throughout all phases of design, from conceptual design through construction administration. This role will assist senior leadership in design, managing production, mentoring staff, representing the firm to the client, and participating in presentations and meetings. Exceptional design talent and technical skills are required in order to oversee the planning and execution of project documents.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum five-year bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Architecture, advanced knowledge in Revit, Sketchup and AutoCAD, and have a desire to grow professionally with the firm. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required. A licensed/registered architect with LEED certification is strongly preferred.
