The Geer Family settled here in 1635 hailing from Heavitree, England. The B&B was an original 18th Century building that was saved and moved to its current location by owner and Proprietor Charlotte Geer. In its long life it has served as a tavern, home and now a B&B.Heavitree of Griswold Bed & Breakfast
