When people in Eastern Connecticut need help with behavioral health – whether for psychiatric illness or chemical dependency – they turn to Natchaug Hospital. It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America and the Connecticut Rivers Council to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Madonna Place provides services which strengthen families, promotes health, and helps to prevent child abuse and neglect. New London Youth Affairs is a Youth Service Bureau which promotes positive outcomes for children, youth, and families by supporting a wide range of comprehensive services and collaborations. Our Piece of the Pie®, Inc. (OPP®) is a nonprofit organization that works with Greater Hartford and Eastern Connecticut youth 14-24 years of age in a youth-centric model helping young people achieve d Affectionately nicknamed the COMO by locals, the Stonington Community Center, Inc. was established in 1945. The great COMO legacy of strengthening community began over 70 years ago. It is our endeavor to continue this legacy, cultivating our unique COMO culture through laughter, acceptance, fun and learning for our entire community. Serving unemployed, underemployed tribally-enrolled Natives with JOBS, credentials; Affordable training plans; IEP's; Higher Ed: tuition/book support to obtain full time employment. The Connection is a Connecticut-based non-profit human services and community development agency. Our agency has programs in the areas of women and children, supporting housing, behavioral health, and community justice.
