MYSTIC, CT – December 16th, 2014 – Mystic Arts Center (MAC) seeks submissions from regional artists for our upcoming open juried theme exhibition, “Home.” The juror for this show will be Harley Bartlett. Mystic Arts Center seeks submissions from regional artists
Two works may be submitted. All media is welcome with the exception of photography. Theme is open to the artist’s interpretation. All work should be original in concept and execution. All artwork must have been completed solely by the artist, with no guidance from an instructor and not worked on in class. Artists must be 16 years or older. All work must be current. No works previously shown at MAC will be accepted. All work must be suitably framed with wires and ready for hanging, with no clips or saw tooth hangers.
Receiving: Sunday, January 11th and Monday, January 12th, from 11am – 5pm. Entry fees for members are $15 for first entry, $10 for second. Non-member fees are $20 for first entry, $15 for second.
Opening reception: Friday, January 16th 5:30 – 7:30pm. Several cash prize awards to be given. Visit mysticarts.org for a full prospectus.
