Chelsea Groton Bank Promotes Barbara Curto to AVP, Marketing Manager

Groton, CT – Barbara Curto has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Marketing Manager at Chelsea Groton Bank. She joined the Bank as the Marketing Representative in 2015. In this role, Barb will be responsible for developing brand-enhancing strategies, and overseeing the Bank’s day-to-day public relations, advertising and social marketing efforts.

Prior to joining Chelsea Groton Bank, Barb was a Senior Account Executive at the Karma Agency in Philadelphia, PA. While at Karma, she managed public relations, advertising and social media campaigns, website content development, and events for clients in a variety of industries including finance, chemical, healthcare, and non-profit.
 
Barb earned a bachelor’s degree in 2007 from Loyola University Maryland, where she studied Communications and International Business. She completed a graduate certificate program in Strategic Communication at Villanova University in 2009.
 
She is a member of the Connecticut Saves Campaign committee and the Chelsea Activity Team. Barb and her family reside in Mystic, CT.
