New London, CT – The Coast Guard Academy women's rugby team will be playing in the 2018 USA Rugby Fall College Championships in Charlotte, N.C. Coast Guard has an undefeated record of 10-0 for their season. Coast Guard competed this past weekend in round 16/8 at Vassar. The Bears defeated Fairfield University, 61-5 and moved on to win, 60-7 over Bloomsburg. The final four teams will compete for the championship on December 1-2. Coast Guard will face Vassar in the semifinals. The winner of that game will go on to face the winner of Cincinnati and Winona State for the championship. Bracket info can be found here.
