CorePlus Credit Union Appoints New Supervisory Committee Member

CorePlus Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Norwich, CT, appointed Credit Union Member Richard J. Pascal, Esq. to its Supervisory Committee on July 13.
 
He established the law firm of Attorney Richard J. Pascal, LLC in February of 2016 for business clients and individuals’ legal needs.  Most recently, he had been a Partner at Block, Janney and Pascal, LLC in Norwich.  He received his Juris Doctorate in 1987 from The National Law Center at George Washington University. He graduated in 1981 from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. Degree in Accounting.
 
Pascal has been a resident of Norwich, CT since 1989. He is a Board member of the Norwich Rotary and the Norwich Hebrew Benevolent Association, and is a Corporator of The Johnson Home. He is married to Sheri Pascal. They have 3 grown children who all graduated from Norwich Free Academy and have taken their paths to professional occupations.
 
The Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee works to insure that internal controls are maintained to protect the Credit Union and its Members, and that the accounting records are promptly prepared to accurately reflect credit union operations. Mr. William Poirier of Danielson, CT is the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee.
