CT Office of Tourism: Share Your Winter Offerings

As winter approaches, we know the season will be very different this year. Inspiringly, many of you found ways to adapt and even enhance the visitor experience at your properties or events for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Now, we want to know your plans for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s and the entire winter season.

In our continuing effort to #SupportCTBusinesses, we want to share what you’re doing with residents and local visitors on CTvisit.com, social media and through public relations.

Tell us what’s new or different for winter at your property or event, including:

Winter favorites—reimagined with safety top of mind (e.g., skiing, Christmas tree cutting, holiday shopping)

New amenities, experiences or events born out of the safety rules (e.g., drive-up hotel check-in/check-out, virtual happenings, al fresco dining)

New or unique outdoor activities or events for families and adults (e.g., drive-through light shows, socially distant Santa experiences, wildlife tours/cruises)

New or unique indoor activities or events for families and adults (e.g., exhibits, shows, tours)
Share your thoughts—and any photos or videos—with Jean Hebert at Jean.Hebert@ct.gov. If you have any photos of visitors wearing masks, we encourage you to use them! This tool will make it easier for you to share images and videos with us, even if they are large files. Share your images with us today!
